How Customers Download and Log In

Customer Questions

This article explains how dispensary customers can download the mobile app and log in for the first time. You can share these steps with customers or walk them through the process in-store. Otherwise, ask your CSM for our In-Store Budtender Guide for a downloadable PDF to keep near the register for easy reference.

1. Downloading the App

Customers can download the app from either app store:

For iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Search for “[Dispensary Name]”.
  3. Tap Get to download the app.

For Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Search for “[Dispensary Name]”.
  3. Tap Install.

We recommend every location has in-store signage with a QR code, so customers can scan it to be taken directly to the download page!

2. Opening the App

Once downloaded, customers can open the app by tapping Open in the store page, or by finding the app icon on their device’s home screen/app list.

3. Creating or Accessing an Account

When the app first opens, the customer will begin the login/verification process.

Step 1: Enter Phone Number

Customers enter the mobile number associated with their device. After that, a one-time passcode (OTP) will be sent to them via SMS.

Step 2: Enter the OTP

The customer inputs the code from the text message and this verifies their identity and logs them into the app.

Step 3: Complete Their Profile

On the first login, customers will be asked to enter a few basic details:

  • First & Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Date of Birth

Step 4: Navigating After Login

Once logged in, customers should land on the app’s Home or Shop screen. At this point, they can begin browsing the menu, viewing deals, placing orders, and accessing loyalty (if applicable).

Step 5: Troubleshooting Tips

If a customer encounters issues:

OTP Not Received

  • Confirm their phone number was typed correctly.
  • Try resending the code.

Stuck on Login

  • Make sure they are using the same phone number used previously.
  • Have them fully close and reopen the app.
  • If needed, deleting and reinstalling the app can resolve most issues.
