Glossary of DopeTech Terms

A quick reference for the products and terms you'll come across in DopeHub and this Help Center.

The Products

• DopeApps — your dispensary's branded mobile app for iPhone and Android.
• DopeSites — your dispensary website and web storefront.
• DopeTender — your in-store kiosk.
• DopeHub — the admin backend at admin.dopetech.ai where you manage all of the above.

Getting Around DopeHub

• All Stores / store switcher — the control at the top left that lets you work across every location at once or focus on a single store. Your navigation changes depending on which you've selected.
• Analytics — your performance dashboards (sales, orders, customers, and more).
• Orders — a view-only place to see and track orders and export the data.
• Access Control — where you add staff and manage roles and permissions.
• Role — a reusable bundle of permissions you assign to a user.
• Grants — the individual permissions inside a role (a higher grant count means more access).

Marketing and Messaging

• Audience — a customer segment you target with campaigns. A Custom audience is built with rules; a POS audience comes from your point-of-sale system.
• Opt-in — a customer's permission to receive messages on a channel (push, SMS, or email).
• Push notification — a message sent straight to your app customers' phones.
• Notification Settings — where automated campaigns (like abandoned-cart reminders) are set up.
• Bounce — a push that couldn't be delivered (for example, the customer uninstalled the app).

App and Store Content

• App Section — a content block placed in your app (such as the top of your home page) that holds one or more images.
• Collection — a curated group of products you can feature.
• Specials — your deals and promotions.
• Category — how products are grouped (Flower, Edibles, and so on).
• Banner — an image displayed in your app or site.
• Carousel — a sliding set of images customers swipe through.
• Deeplink — a link that opens a specific place in your app when tapped: a single product, a filtered group, or a collection.
• Theme — your app's branding (logo, colors).

Behind the Scenes

• POS (point of sale) — your in-store register and inventory system. Your menu syncs from here.
• Menu sync — the automatic update that pulls your menu, pricing, and availability from your POS into your app and site.
